4th Party Logistics (4PL) is the arrangement of a firm outsourcing its logistical operations, which can include warehousing and supply chain, to two or more specialist firms (the 3rd party logistics) & another specialist firm (the 4th party) coordinating the logistic activities of the third parties. Also referred to as a Lead Logistics Provider (LLP).
